Clayton Magill, EDI Champion

Clay is an Associate Professor of Biogeochemistry in the Lyell Centre at Heriot-Watt University where he runs the MAGPIE (Multidisciplinary Archaeology, Geoenergy, Paleoenvironments and Isotope Ecology) Lab. His research focuses on understanding patterns of carbon movement through complex ecological systems and the legacy of organic matter in the environment, both aquatic and terrestrial.
